GTU's online mock test proved to be a flop, students stuck without logging in

The mock test conducted by GTU on an experimental basis proved to be a flop. The students used some excuses of not being able to log in for the mock test. 


An attempt has been made to hack the server, GTU said. Some students are currently taking the exam. GTU said those with a net slowdown were having problems.

The experimental mock test being conducted by Gujarat Technological University was taken today. Diploma and B.E students studying in GTU took practical mock test today.

There was a widespread complaint that students could not log in to this online mock test. Students who could not log-in for the test were harassed. B.E.

 And mock test times for the diploma were from 12:00 to 12:30 and from 2:00 to 2:30, respectively. 

It was decided by GTU to extend the examination time from 12 noon to 12.30 pm due to several complaints.

119309 students of Semester 2,4,6 of BE and Semester 2,4 of Diploma took this online mock test. It was announced that students will be able to take the test online using mobiles, laptops or other digital devices. 



Students from countries like Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Bhutan and from India to West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Maharashtra, Jammu and Kashmir, 119309 students from more than 20 states like Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Manipur, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Goa, Telangana, Karnataka took this online mock test.

 A total of 1,19,309 students from more than 20 different states of India and countries like Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Myanmar were registered for the online test.

The mock test was conducted on an experimental basis in the form of a test of the preparations made by the students so as not to harm the learning of the students during the lockdown. But concerned students who can't log-inBecame.

This test consists of MCQ type questions of 30 marks,Which were to be completed within a time limit of 30 minutes. Results will be instantly available on the digital device used by the student. 

It may be mentioned that this mock test organized by GTU will not be evaluated with the final merit of the students. This is a process done on an experimental basis.
