60.64 per cent result of Gujarat Board's standard 10 examination has been declared today. The result is 6.33 per cent lower than last year. This time the result of Surat Center is once again the highest result of 74.66 percent. While Dahod district has the lowest result of 47.47 percent.
As far as the examinees are concerned, 10.83 lakh students from all over the state were registered for the examination. The highest number was 1 lakh from Ahmedabad, followed by 79 thousand from Surat.

The current year includes 291 schools with 100 per cent results, while 174 schools have got 0 per cent results.
Last year, 366 schools were registered with 100 per cent result, while 63 schools had 0 per cent result. Thus, if we talk about the result this year, the nose of Gujarat's education department has been cut off. The result of 1839 schools in the state this year is less than 30 per cent which was only 995 last year.
