Roads in South Bopal were blocked due to scanty rains and heavy rains. A tempo travel bus was also trapped. Jopishaben Shah, president of Bopal-Ghuma municipality, said that even though the road was closed due to repairs, the traffic was increased as people opened the road. The road was jammed with vehicles. Due to which the wheels of a vehicle got stuck in the ground. No one was injured, however.
The repaired road in Meghaninagar area of Ahmedabad city was crushed a few days back. Which caused a truck full of grain to overturn. The driver and cleaner were slightly injured in the incident. No official of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation reached the spot till 10 am. The goods were being transferred to another. According to the locals, the road here is such that when it rains, it gets blocked and such incidents continue to happen.
